Q1:How do you like the weekly writing prompts? Are they interesting or boring? Inspirational or weird? Are they related to your life? Can you suggest anything better and give some examples?
To be honest, I did not expect this kind of weekly assignment can be interesting. Because I consider them as “assignments”. But after few weeks, I found that the topics are usually funny and also promote me to think more. They do relate to my life. For example, the “strawberry generation” is one of the most impressed topics to me. From the discussion with my keypal, some deeper thoughts came to my mind.
Q2:Do you like the two-way online discussion with your keypal? Or do you think we should have more people (like 3~4 students) form a group blog to exchange ideas? Why or why not?
I really like this two-way online discussion. Some special ideals were inspired during the process. About a group discussion, I think it is not a bad ideal. Through this project, we can learn the importance of team spirit and cooperation. Because if we work as a group, all the members need to do his or her part correctly and on time so our blog project can work smoothly.
Q3: Have you encountered any difficulties during the semester when using blogs to discuss with your keypal, e.g., computer problems or anything?
No, I have not encountered difficulties when using my blog. Everything is fine!
Q4: How do you like the project website? Are they friendly enough? Have we left out any important content? How do you like the layout/design?
I think the project website is quite good. The layouts of each week assignments are creative and fancy. About the design, it is very convenient for me to use. I can see the assignment that week just by clicking the button on the top of the website. The function saves me a lot of time.
Q5: What have you gained from this blog activity?
1. I got a good partner! Because of this blog activity, my partner and I can discuss together and share different opinion.
2. I also cultivated a habit of writing blog every week.
3. I know the importance of being punctual.
4. I try to improve my writing skills, such as grammar and the choice of words.
Q6: If you had an opportunity to start over, would you have done anything differently? If so, how?
If I can start over this project, I think I will interact with my partner more. I know some of my classmates have NO interactions with their keypal because they can not contact them! I should be very glad to have a good keypal.
Maybe, in addition to weekly assignments, we can share something interesting in life or some problems in learning English. Just like a friend.

Week 12
Through these days, we have already down many tasks with different topic. To be honest, I think few of them are a little bit difficult to me. I was frustrated but I still managed to finish them on time. I worked on my grammar and tried to use dissimilar words. I also structured my articles in order to make them easier to read.
About my suggestions as how to grade my performance better:
1.The words count requirement: each weekly assignment should reach the requirement for at least 300 words.
2.The deadline: each weekly assignment should be turn in on time.
3.The content:
(1.) about the use of grammar, words and organization.
(2.) if our contents meet the topic.
(3.) if we can fully convey our ideas.
Base on what I mentioned above, I give myself 7 (from 1~10). I think I still have to work on my task’s contents. I am sure my writing ability has room to improve. Also, I need to finish my assignments more early so that my keypal can post her part soon.
I give my partner 9. I am certain that she is a very hard-working person. She never delays her work and always gives me other fresh thoughts under a same topic. I also learn some writing skills from her comments. She deserves this score! I am thankful for her help.

Week 11
Among the five formats of learning, “discussion” interesting me most” and “reading” is what I like the least.
Through the discussion to my classmates, some thoughts or ideals will be inspired. And we can be more familiar to our classmates as well. I remember in our listening and speaking class, teacher once asked us to “create an invention” by discussing with our own group. At first, I was a little bit nervous for not knowing my group members well. But afterwards, I found they are all easy-going and conversational. I was surprised by my group members’ creativity and imagination as well. Eventually, we had a great time and invent a special thing.
Furthermore, when I encounter some difficulties which I cannot solve by myself, I will go to library or ask my friends for help. These two manner seem quite normal but, indeed, are very useful. I must make efforts by myself first and sure I cannot find out the solution, then I go for my friends. Friends can give us their ideals and suggestions which we may never though before.
I think I am a learner who need interaction very much. Because I often feel bored and exhausted when doing assignments by myself. My ideals will be inspired by the process of interaction.

Week ten
After reread my blog, I found something interesting. My point of view will change as time goes by; as a result, I was surprised by my previous thoughts somewhat. However, by doing week tasks, I was cultivated to use different angles to see one thing and I believed it was my keypal who help me do the change. Although under the same topic, we still have different opinions and sometimes share our own experiences. I am sure by these week tasks, what I can learn is beyond my imagination.
As to grade, I think I will grade myself 7, because I know I still have room to improve. For example, my writing skills. About the usage of words and transitional phrases, I can try to be more specific and use some new words. On the other hand, I also need to learn how to utilize my time. To be honest, I sometimes feel tired and try to procrastinate my assignments because my mind went blank and feel nothing to say about the topic. Maybe I should search some information from Internet in order to inspire myself.

WEEK 9
When I first heard the words “strawberry generation” from news, I was curious about why they chose strawberry to represent younger generation. Strawberry has beautiful look, sweet but sour tasty and easy to squelch, and people think our e-generation has some characteristics like strawberry. I also notice that media tends to use the words too often when teenagers make mistakes. But, in fact,
everyone makes mistakes. After news media exaggerated how unstable and how low pressure resistance younger generation seems to be, the term “strawberry generation” has become a stigma totally.
I do not think I am a strawberry generation. However, indeed, I have some attributes match their so called strawberry generation. First, I pay attention to my appearance. I do not understand why this trait was categorized into strawberry generation. People often care about what they look in others eyes. It is quite normal. The point is that: pay not too much attention. Another one is “ability does not match educational background”, I think the reason may be we are not good at getting used to new environment easily. We younger generation needs to experience more so that we can get with our work and society and be more flexible.

Week six
In my opinion, I think a mistake is we do or say something wrong and will be scolded by others. And we may feel uncomfortable and frustrated when making a mistake. In short, I think a mistake is an obstacle to achieve our goals. I used to take mistakes as a symbol of humiliation. I was afraid of being blamed from others when I made a mistake which makes me embarrassed. As a result, I try my best to avoid making mistakes.
However, after listening to Prof. Pausch’s speech, my point of view had totally changed. It reminds me the sentence I wrote on comment on Task one:”…good judgment comes from experience. However, the experience often not so good.” Once I make a mistake, I will try to escape from it. But, when I slow down and think again, I realize that if I can learn from it, then I can avoid making the same mistake. So, why don’t we think like this way: Making a mistake can be a lecture for us. People make mistakes, but few of them know how to make good use of them. I think, mistakes can be a mirror which reflect the truly you. By looking into the mirror, I can see my shortcomings and try to fix it.

Week Five
About this picture, I think it is a model of collaborative learning and it clearly shows every important aspect of collaborative learning. This kind of learning way has become more and more common since I entered the college. In many courses, we need to separate into groups in order to do some papers or an oral report. To me, the most interesting part of this type of learning is "Generation Multiple Perspective". Through the discussion with my group members, I can learn others’ different opinions and thought, and surprise by another aspect which I have not thought of before. We share our advice and also learn from it. I think this part is the most meaningful and interesting part of group learning.
However, there is also a part that bothers me a lot—“Learning through Reflection”. I consider myself a careless person. When I write a composition, I often make mistakes easily and then next time, I make the same mistake again! I think the problem is I did not read my composition again and again before I submit it. Now, I try to keep two words in my mind all the time— reflection and revise. I hope every time when I am writing a composition, I will remember the two words clearly.
